Description
Otter House at Ty Iocws is a circular building that sits on a brick plinth, adapting to the slope of the ground. The structure features a lower section made of closely spaced railings with a gate on the north side. Above this is an upper section of white-painted latticed battens, topped with a moulded cornice, and a conical roof covered in zinc sheeting. Inside, there is a smaller circular timber house constructed from vertical boards, which has two round-topped openings and a similar conical zinc roof. This inner structure is suspended from the cross tie beam of the main roof and is situated over a circular moat lined with zinc. The interior of the smaller house is divided across its diameter by a vertical partition.
