Description

Ffynnon Trwyn'r nant is a rectangular enclosure made of cast iron railings, with its base set in concrete. There is an opening on the longer west side that leads down four steps, which then turn north to another flight of four steps that descend to a square lower area. At this lower area, the upwelling of water is contained in a low arched recess in the west wall. On the outer side of the enclosure, there is a plaque that reads "C DAN....GYNLLUN CREU GWAI.... Y CYNGON YN YSTOD 1877."
