Description

Bronwydd enclosure is a square structure located west of Llangynllo Church. It features a low rusticated plinth made of Cilgerran stone with slate coping. The enclosure is surrounded by cast-iron spearhead railings that have urn-capped stanchions. There were originally attached brass coats of arms, with one still remaining on the south side. The enclosure is grassed and contains a granite slab from the late 19th or 20th century that reads, "The vault of the Lloyds of Bronwydd, Lords Marchers of the Barony of Kemes."
