Description
The bridge over Nant Gwylan is a Grade II listed structure built from rubble. It features a single elliptical arch that is recessed and has a keystone. The long parapet walls are finished with stepped buttresses, which are topped with moulded stone copings that rise above the level of the parapet. In the center of the inside west wall, there is a square recess that contains a shield-shaped stone tablet inscribed with the words: "YMDEITHYDD CLYW YR HYN ADDYWED Y BON TRWY UNDEBYCYFOELHOG ARTLAWDYR. ADEILADWYD FI UNDEBSYDD NERTH 1857".
