Description

22 High Street is a two-storey building featuring a group of one-window rubble frontages, with No 22 being white-washed. The building has slate roofs and later chimney stacks, with No 22 constructed of red brick. The windows include 8 and 12-pane sash styles. No 18 has three-light shop windows with cornices on both the High Street and New Street elevations, along with cellar openings below. The entrance features a half-glazed door located across the splayed corner. No 20 has a modern panelled door, while No 22 has a glazed door.

The left end is rendered, and the rear has been modernised, including an attic dormer on No 20. There is a six-panel door numbered 20 set into the roadside boundary wall.
