Description
The agricultural range located to the east of Dol-y-Gadfa is a stone structure that includes a primary former stable section and a lower cowhouse range attached to the south. It is built of local rubble, with the stable section having a slated roof, while the cowhouse features a modern corrugated metal roof.
On the western side, there is a near-central stable entrance with modern boarded doors, flanked by boarded windows, one of which includes an incorporated entrance with a boarded modern door. The cowhouse section has three entrances, all with modern boarded doors, and a boarded window to the left that was formerly an entrance. To the far right, there is a large entrance that opens to the eaves, featuring slate slab jambs and slatestone lintels throughout. Attached to the right gable end is a later lean-to store with a modern corrugated roof. There is also an upper entrance on the north-facing gable, which faces the road, complete with a boarded door and external stone-stepped access.
The interior was not inspected during the survey.
