Description
Beudy-y-gromlech is a building made from granite boulders, with the joints filled and buttered. It has a slate roof, which is grouted at the rear and features a single rooflight at both the front and back. The structure is a single-storey house with two bays, including a gable end stack. At the eastern end, there may have originally been a cowhouse under the same roof, along with a rear wing that seems to have served a service or agricultural function, possibly as a dairy.
On the south side, there is a central boarded door, with a small four-pane sash window on either side. The rear has a single small window, an external doorway, and a small window leading to the rear wing. The cowhouse end features a boarded door against the gable end of the cottage and a larger, later-added window. The presence of the gable end stack suggests that the building was converted for other uses at a later date. The building was not seen during the time of inspection.
