Description

The cowhouse at Uwchlaw'r-rhos is a long rectangular building, oriented roughly from north-west to south-east, with a short range extending at right angles to the rear on the right side. The left side features uncoursed rubblestone, while the right side has roughly coursed rubblestone. The building is topped with a slate roof that includes ventilators and slate-coped verges.

On the left section, there are doorways positioned at the far left and offset to the right, with ventilation slits flanking the right doorway and windows on both sides. The right section has two doorways on the right side and ventilation slits to the left, along with a brick repair to the right-hand doorway. Inside, bolted A-frame trusses are present throughout the structure.
