Description
This building is a long rectangular structure located at Uwchlaw'r-rhos, aligned roughly from north-west to south-east. It is constructed of uncoursed rubblestone, featuring slate lintels above the doors and windows, and reddish brown brick dressings around the arches of the cart shelter bays. The roof is made of slate.
On the left side, the cart shelter includes two wide segmental arches and a doorway. The stables are situated on the right side and have two doorways, alternating with ventilated windows, while the rear wall remains unbroken.
To the left of the cart shelter bays, there is a section that was previously a loose box, and above the cart shelter, there is a loft. The stables are divided by a stone cross wall and supported by king-post roof trusses.
