Description
The slate fencing for the Ratgoed Tramway and adjoining fields is a Grade II listed structure. It consists of two lines of slate slabs set vertically, approximately 4 meters apart, and secured together by wire strands at both the top and bottom. The section at the eastern end of Capel Rehoboth is about 200 meters long and is connected at right angles to a field fence of similar construction that runs southeast for 35 meters, meeting another fence that is approximately 80 meters long and runs nearly parallel to the tramway. At the chapel end, there is an additional length of similar fencing, 35 meters long, extending up to the road.
