Description
Capel Ebenezer is a chapel built of rubble stone, with the front and southwest side pebbledashed around raised quoins and dressings. It has a slate roof and features a gable entry facade, with round-headed doors on either side of a central pair of windows. Each opening has a pair of panelled doors with overlights, and the keyed architrave extends down as pilasters to ground level. The windows are also round-headed, featuring keyed architraves and margin-glazed sashes. Above the windows in the gable is a smaller keyed oculus, which sits above the datestone. The side elevations have four similar round-headed windows without dressings, with the heads made of brick.
The chapel includes a forecourt surrounded by a stone wall, which is lowered and has railings on either side of a central gate hung on stone piers.
Inside, the chapel has a simple layout with side lobbies over the entrances that form sides to the set fawr. The walls are plastered, and there is a coved ceiling with a simple cornice and a large central rose. An arch is positioned behind the raised pulpit, and there are three banks of seats, with the side banks angled towards the pulpit.
