Description

The former engine house is a small, simple rectangular building made of slate, dating from the early 20th century. It has a slate roof with a tiled ridge. The north gable end features large boarded double doors, while the west side has two fixed windows with 16 panes each. The interior is plain. This building is included for its group value with the neighboring listed items, as it is an exceptionally complete example of a slate quarry level.
