Description

30-33 High Street A short terrace of four 3-storey 2-bay town houses, which have scribed roughcast fronts painted in different colours, and slate roof with 2 brick stacks. The houses are built as 2 reflected pairs with the entrances in the outer sides of each pair. Nos 30 and 31 have half-glazed panel door. No 32 has a replaced door and No 33 has a panel door, of which only the upper 2 panels are moulded. In the lower storey are canted bay windows, mainly with 4-pane sashes, but with 2-pane sashes to Nos 32 and 33. In No 33 the bay window is 2-storey. Other windows are segmental-headed 4-pane horned sashes, shorter in the upper storey.

Forecourts have dwarf walls, which to Nos 30-31 is roughcast and painted, and to Nos 32-33 rubble stone with slate coping, and railings with spear finials and original iron gates.

The rear elevation is roughcast, with 4-pane sashes and some replacement windows. Original short 2-storey wings are retained to Nos 30 and 31. Nos 32 and 33 have extended rear wings.
