Description
This building is a terrace of four 3-storey, 2-bay town houses located at 30-33 High Street. Constructed with scribed roughcast fronts painted in different colours, the houses feature a slate roof with two brick stacks. They are arranged as two reflected pairs, with entrances on the outer sides of each pair. Nos 30 and 31 have half-glazed panel doors, while No 32 has a replaced door, and No 33 has a panel door with only the upper two panels moulded.
The lower storey includes canted bay windows, predominantly with 4-pane sash windows, though Nos 32 and 33 have 2-pane sashes. Notably, the bay window of No 33 is 2-storey. Other windows in the houses are segmental-headed 4-pane horned sashes, which are shorter in the upper storey.
Each house has a forecourt with dwarf walls; Nos 30 and 31 have roughcast and painted walls, while Nos 32 and 33 feature rubble stone with slate coping. The forecourts also include railings with spear finials and original iron gates.
The rear elevation is roughcast and contains 4-pane sashes along with some replacement windows. Nos 30 and 31 retain original short 2-storey wings, whereas Nos 32 and 33 have extended rear wings.
