Description

The store and mill at Ysgubor-fawr is a stone building with a slate roof. It consists of a single rectangular cell, featuring opposing doors on the long sides that lead to the stockyard and the field behind. At the southern end, there is an external cogwheel, which is part of the mechanism from a water wheel that is connected to a small leet running across the gable end into a well located in the center of the stockyard. The building does not have any windows.

Inside, the building retains a trough at the southwest end, which has a wooden pulley wheel. This pulley wheel is connected to the external driving mechanism that derives power from the watercourse at the end of the building.
