Description
The Fountain is a three-storey domestic building dating from the 19th century. It features a flat felt roof with oversailing eaves and rendered elevations. The symmetrical facade has three windows on the upper storeys above a three-bay open ground floor, which includes flat-arched openings. Each upper floor has a 12-pane central door with decorative iron balconies, flanked by tall 18-pane sash windows. Access to the building is via the side elevation on the right, which is reached by a flight of parapetted steps. There is a shallow wooden verandah projection on the upper floor above an open porch on the first floor.
