Description

36 Vicarage Street is a three-storey building, likely dating from the 18th century, and rendered on all visible elevations. It has a pitched pantile roof with a dentilled eaves cornice.

The north elevation features two doors, each set within a wooden doorcase with pilasters. The left-hand door is half-glazed. A flush fixed three-light window is present on the ground floor, and two three-over-three sash windows are located at first floor level, each set beneath a segmental arch. A further three three-over-three sash windows are situated on the second floor.

The south elevation, which overlooks the garden, has two canted bay windows with three-light sashes and glazing bars, and a wooden eaves cornice. The elevation is rendered, with a rusticated ground floor and a central arched entrance. Sash windows with glazing bars are present at both the first and second floor levels.

36 Vicarage Street is part of a formal group with the neighbouring buildings at numbers 34 and 38.
