Description
Y Parc is a 2-storey building with a 2-room plan, oriented roughly from north-west to south-east. It developed from a single-storey structure of the same layout. The building features very roughly coursed rubblestone with large quoins on the earlier part, while the raised section has more regular coursing. It has a slate roof with slate coping.
The front of the building includes 2-light windows with pegged frames, large slate lintels, and cills, positioned on either side of a slightly offset late 20th-century gabled stone porch that covers a boarded door. The 19th-century slate-coped gabled dormers have small 2-light windows that break the eaves. There are integral end stacks, both with slate drips; the left stack is more substantial, while the right is rendered. The former single-storey roof pitch is clearly visible on the left gable end, and less so on the right end, which has an outbuilding attached. The rear wall is unbroken, featuring a small 19th-century rooflight in the back roof slope.
Inside, the left ground-floor room has exposed joists and a fireplace with slate slab jambs and lintel.
