Description

The sundial at the Church of St Llechid is a Grade II listed structure. It features a slate top slab with a bevelled edge, resting on a square pedestal that has a moulded and chamfered plinth and a moulded capping. The entire sundial is made from very finely cut and jointed slate slabs. The top slab includes a painted replacement gnomon and has flowers inscribed at the corners, along with the inscription "Lat. 53 degrees 20/ Robt. Prichard, Willm. Pierce} Wardens 1795/ N. Wilson fecit".
