Description

Old Barracks Cottage is a 1½-storey house built of rubble stone, topped with a slate roof. The openings feature slate lintels. The original windows have been replaced with 2-light designs that include wooden mullions and transoms. In the lower storey, a central doorway has been converted into a window. To the right of this doorway is a conservatory, along with a replacement window at the right end. To the left of centre, there is a glazed door flanked by windows. The upper storey features three raked half dormers.
