Description
16 Church Street is a late-Georgian style, three-storey, two-bay house that once served as a shop. The front is finished in whitened pebble-dash with smooth-rendered architraves and sill bands, topped by a slate roof. It is part of a row with Nos 14 and 12 Church Street, sharing a brick stack on the right side. The entrance to the house is recessed on the left side and features a fielded-panel door with an overlight. To the right of the entrance is a similar former shop doorway. A 12-pane horned sash window has replaced a modernised shop front noted in the previous survey. The middle storey has 12-pane horned sash windows, while the upper storey features 9-pane hornless sashes set in eared architraves. The building has not been inspected.
