Description
Bodlasan Fawr is a 2-storey farmhouse built with a 2-unit plan and features a 2-storey central rear wing. The main elevation is distinctive, showcasing a wide central gabled bay that houses the entrance, while the rest of the facade is blind. The building is rendered over rubble and has boulder foundations, with a raking plinth along the base of the left (south) wall. The roof is covered with old, small slates and has red clay ridge tiles, along with rectangular, rendered gable stacks that have capping. The principal elevation faces east and includes a 2-window range with a central entrance beneath a broad gable. The flanking windows on the ground floor are 6-pane sashes, while the smaller windows above the eaves are 4-pane sashes. At the rear, the windows consist of a mix of small-paned sashes and casements. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
