Description
The Britannia Bridge Memorial, located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary in Llanfairpwll, is a limestone columnar memorial tombstone dating from the 19th century. It features an obelisk atop an octagonal plinth. The lower stage of the plinth has recessed panels with slate inscription tablets set into the north, south, east, and west panels. Above this, there is a moulded cornice with a Lombard frieze. The upper stage consists of a smaller, shorter octagonal plinth with carved panels that display diagonal cross designs, which supports the obelisk.
