Description

Rutherglen is a 1½-storey house with two windows, featuring pebble-dashed walls and a steep slate roof. To the left, there is a stone stack from the 18th century. The entrance on the left side has a panel door and a pedimented canopy. The windows are small-pane horned sashes, located in raked half dormers in the attic. At the rear, there are added flat-roofed projections.

The only original feature remaining is the fireplace on the left side, which has a chamfered timber lintel.
