Description
The agricultural range at Tyddyn Waen is a long structure featuring rubble walls and roofs made of old small slates. It consists of two equally sized sections, with the left part housing a lofted stable or cowhouse and the right part serving as a corn barn-cowhouse. There is a slight rise in the ridge line of the right section.
On the left side, a stone stair leads to the gable wall, providing access to a granary or servants loft. The front of this section has two narrow doors for the cowhouse or stable, along with a 9-pane fixed light window on the right. There is a blocked window on the rear elevation of the right side, a door on the left side, and a small 6-pane window also on the left.
The right section includes the corn barn on the left and a cowhouse or stable on the right. The corn barn features a wide door on the left, which has likely been enlarged, and a narrow winnowing door on the opposite wall. To the right, there are a pair of narrow doors, and a window has been inserted in a former doorway at the right end. The rear elevation also has a blocked door at the left end.
The interior of the building was not inspected during the survey.
