Description
Gwyndy Bach is an 18th-century two-storey house with a single-storey wing on the left side and a lean-to on the right. It is constructed from rubble masonry and features slate sills. The roof is modern, made of small slates, and has gable stacks with dripstones and capping. The house has recessed horned sash windows, with 12-pane windows on the ground floor and smaller 4-pane windows on the first floor, positioned directly under the eaves. The central entrance includes a shallow rectangular overlight and a slate tablet above that is inscribed with "P / TM / 1780."
The single-storey wing projects from the main elevation and has a blocked doorway at the front, along with a small-paned replacement casement in the north wall. The lean-to features a boarded door on the left side. At the rear, there is a gabled extension that is two-storey, with slate cladding on the ground floor and a wide doorway to the right, while the first floor has wood cladding and a large modern window, all topped with a slate roof. Additionally, there is a lower, single-storey block to the rear on the right, also built of rubble masonry and covered with a slate roof, featuring a single modern window.
The interior was not inspected during the survey but is said to retain a hewn, wide-boarded partition.
