This is an 18th and 19th century row of five traditional one-storey cottages, located at 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 Main Street, Kirknewton. The cottages are constructed of random rubble and have skew-gabled roofs covered with a mix of pantiles and slates. The property is derelict except for number 26. It forms a group with other buildings.
