Description
Newpark is a classical house dated 1806, featuring later alterations and additions. The building has two storeys and three bays, with a taller two-storey wing on the right that has a canted front, and a single-storey addition on the left. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble, with ashlar stone on the advanced central bay and droved ashlar dressings. The central entrance has a pilastered and round-arched doorpiece with a fanlight above. The ground floor windows are tripartite and advanced, while the first-floor windows have 12-pane glazing. The central bay is topped with a cornice and has a blocking course with a raised central panel displaying the date. The roofs are covered with piended slate.
