Description

The Dovecot at Alderston House dates from the later 17th century and has an oblong shape. It is harled and features a corbie-stepped design. The structure formerly had a lean-to roof and is topped with ball finials. There is a landing-ledge beneath 11 flight-holes. Inside, there are 803 nest-holes.
