Description
This is a single-storeyed double cottage, located at 9 Main Street, Livingston Village and also known as Alderston Cottage or Bloom Cottage. The cottage is constructed of rubble, with one section painted ochre, and features painted margins around the windows. The roof is slate-covered. Each cottage section is characterised by a central entrance door, flanked on either side by two-paned windows. The building is part of a group of buildings of group value, which was re-categorised from a 'B' listing to a 'C(S)' (Category C Significant) in 2006 to specifically reflect its contribution to the group, and the listing applies to both the interior and exterior.
