Description
A row of four simple vernacular cottages, likely dating from the earlier 19th century. The cottages are single-storied and built of rubble with lime-washed walls, and painted ochre margins. They have a slate roof. A projecting gabled bay is visible at The Shop. The windows of the Livingston Inn Cottages have been bricked up. The two western dwellings, known as Livingston Inn Cottages numbers 1 and 2, have been combined into one dwelling, though it is currently unoccupied. The buildings form a group of buildings with number 5. This listing recognizes the collective architectural and historic interest of the group, and applies to both the interior and exterior of the cottages.
