Description

The Dovecot at Houstoun House is a small, oblong structure dating from the 17th century. It is built of rubble, with some parts harled, and sits on a plinth made of boulders. The building is currently roofless and features a landing ledge inside. There are two chambers within, containing a total of 225 and 193 nest-holes.
