Description
The Napier Mausoleum, dated 1846, is a simple rectangular-plan Gothic structure located within the cemetery walls to the east of the church in Dumbarton. It is constructed of droved ashlar with polished dressings. The entrance is situated in the west wall, featuring a pointed-headed opening with a hood mould and nook shafts. Above the entrance, the coping is raised. Inside, the walls are arcaded, with inscribed slabs positioned below the arches.
