Description
The Peter Denny Statue, located at the Municipal Buildings on Church Street in Dumbarton, was sculpted by Hamo Thorneycroft, RA, in 1898 and erected in 1902. The statue features a square pedestal made of white granite, which is set on a stepped base. It includes bronze plaques on the sides and supports a bronze statue of Peter Denny, who was a shipbuilder.
