Description
The Walled Garden at Balloch Castle dates from the early 19th century and features a square design. It is constructed from squared and snecked rubble with harl-pointing, and has red sandstone quoins. The coping is made of sandstone slabs that sweep up towards the main wall. There are droved red sandstone margined doors and a cast-iron gate. The east wall includes a large depressed arch gate with red sandstone voussoirs and cast-iron gates.
