Description

The Gothic Arch at Megginch Castle dates from the late 18th to early 19th century, with regularised alterations made in the 20th century. It features a Gothic arch design and is constructed from rubble, with alternating raised quoins and voussoirs. The boundary wall includes coped rubble, and there are gatepiers made of rubble that are topped with pyramidal coping.
