Description
North Cottage in High Aldochlay, Luss, is an early 19th-century building consisting of a single storey with a rectangular plan. It features a pair of 6-bay terraced cottages constructed from rubble with painted stone margins.
On the east (main) elevation, each cottage has a centrally located, deep-set modern door, with windows on either side. The windows have a gothick glazing pattern in their casements.
The north and south gable elevations each contain a window positioned at the upper left and right.
The cottages are adorned with gothick lead casement windows and have a steeply pitched roof covered in graded grey slate, complete with lead flashings and rendered corniced ridge stacks.
The interior was not seen in 1996.
