Description
Arrochar House is a late 18th century single-storey cottage with a rectangular plan, featuring five bays. The exterior is constructed of rubble with pointed ashlar margins and dressings.
On the principal (north) elevation, there is a centrally located door flanked by symmetrically arranged windows. The rear (south) elevation includes a lean-to scullery at the center and two square dormers that are also symmetrically placed. The windows are timber sash and case, with 8-pane glazing, while the dormers have 4-pane timber sash and case windows. The cottage has a grey slate roof, which is finished with ashlar coping at the skews and scrolled skewputts, and features corniced apex stacks with paired octagonal cans. The interior was not seen in 1994.
