Description
Kirkton Of Clova Cottage is likely an early 19th-century single-storey, three-bay cottage built from harled rubble. It features a small lean-to outshot with a catslide roof at the rear and has a boulder base. The front elevation includes a central half-glazed timber-boarded door flanked by windows, gablehead stacks, and a small window on the west gable. The back door to the outshot is also timber-boarded, and there are several rooflights on the rear elevation.
The cottage has 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows, with coped stacks topped with yellow clay cans. The roof is covered with graded grey Scottish slate.
