Description

Badden Cottage is an early 19th century, single-storey, three-bay cottage constructed from rubble and featuring a cruck frame. The front has a central door that is obscured by a later added gabled timber porch. It has small windows, end stacks, and a corrugated iron roof. Inside, part of the canopy chimney remains, along with three jointed cruck trusses and remnants of heather thatch over turf divots.
