Description
St Drostan's Chapel is a small, simple ruinous church from the late or post-medieval period. The entrance features later pilasters that date back to 1780, which flank the round-headed entrance in the center of the west gable. These pilasters are made of polished ashlar granite and have cornices, with inscribed commemorative plaques; one plaque has fallen from its seating and is propped against the wall. The east gable has a round-headed window, and there is similar small fenestration in the two-bay long north and south elevations. Surrounding the chapel is a rectangular burial ground made of rubble walls, which is now much overgrown, with two tombs visible.
