Description
Queen Victoria's Picnic Lodge in Glen Quoich is a single-storey, three-bay rustic cottage built around 1850. It is constructed from granite rubble, with pinnings on the south elevation and features deep eaves supported by projecting rafters. The central door is flanked by windows, and the gables break the eaves, adorned with rustic red twig inlay. There is also a single door located to the left of the rear elevation.
The building originally had 12-pane sash and case windows, which were boarded up in 2005. It has replacement larch shingles and coped gable stacks.
The interior was in very poor condition at the time of the site visit in November 2005.
