Description
12 Clarendon Place in Stirling is an early Victorian building that has undergone late Victorian alterations and additions. The main section is two stories high and features three windows, with two canted bays on the ground floor and a central doorpiece that has Jacobean pilasters. An unusual feature is the central pair of chimneys that are linked by an octagonal pierced balustrade. To the right, there is an advanced addition that is also two stories tall with an attic, which has three windows on the ground floor that have been altered, and a piended bipartite dormer. The building is topped with a modillioned eaves cornice and has piended slated roofs.
