Description
The Grammar School on Castle Wynd in Stirling was built in 1788 by Gideon Gray. It is a three-storey building with an attic and features four windows on the front. The structure is made of rubble with slightly advanced margins and has a two-window pedimented central bay. There is a rear stair tower and wings, and the roof is slated. The building was restored in 1961, although a bad continuous dormer has been recently added.
