Description

Mar Lodge is an early 19th century building featuring three storeys and a basement. The east front showcases twin bow windows made of whin ashlar. Access to the building is provided at the second floor level on the west side. The central bay is pedimented and includes an arched fanlight doorpiece supported by Ionic columns, with one window on either side. The structure is topped with a main cornice and a blocking course, and it has a slated roof.
