Description

The gazebo at The Shieling, located at 31-35 Park Place in Stirling, was built in 1860. It features a small Italianate tower that is two stories high. The lower stage is constructed of rubble and has a cornice, while the upper stage is splay-angled. Each face of the tower has an architraved bipartite window with a key-block, and there are shouldered openings with panelled splayed faces. The building has a bracketed eaves course and a low-pitched slated pyramid roof topped with a ball and spike finial.
