Description
The main entrance gatepiers and gate at the West Lodge of the Mugdock Estate were designed by the architectural firm Honeyman, Keppie and Mackintosh between approximately 1903 and 1906. The gatepiers consist of two partly channelled, square piers featuring a deep cornice and topped with decorated pyramid finials. The gates are intricate, made from cast iron, and are accompanied by low quadrant walls and cast iron railings.
