Description

Later 19th century. Scottish Baronial. 2 storeys,

asymmetrical. Snecked rubble with ashlar dressings and

quoins. Irregular L-plan. Advanced bay at right, with

splayed angles to ground floor, corbelled to square at

1st. 2-storey entrance bay in re-entrant angle, corbelled

out at 1st floor, door with shouldered roll mould. Angle

turret corbelled from 1st floor, rising above eaves with

conical fish scale roof, at angle with reecessed right

bay. Right bay with bipartite at ground, hood mould with

raised central panel. Single window above. 2 lower bays

to right, outer advanced. Single windows to each storey

in recess, set-back with decorative band course at 1st

floor. 1st floor window with stepped hoodmould and

wall-head gable. Advanced bay with single window to ground

corbelled at 1st floor with bipartite. Recessed bay with

gable end to east front. All gables crow-stepped. Slate

roof.
