Description

48-56 Quarry Street is a three-storey, four-bay tenement building from the later 19th century, featuring shops on the ground floor. It is constructed of cream sandstone ashlar and has a slate roof. The building shares architectural details with 30-36 Quarry Street. Most of the windows have been replaced with modern versions that do not match the original character. The gable stack has been cut down, and there is an angle pilaster on the left side. The interior has not been seen.
