Description
50, 52, and 54 Waterside Street in Strathaven is a building dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The exterior features painted render with margins. The central entrance has a door with a keystone above it. To the left of the entrance is a door and a window, while to the right are two later shop windows with a central door. There is a continuous bracketed fascia along the top. On the first floor, there are a pair of central round-arched windows with pilasters, flanked by later outer bipartite windows. The building has an eaves course and a cornice, topped by a steep gabled slate roof.
