Description

The churchyard at Lesmahagow Parish Church occupies Church Square in Lesmahagow. The churchyard's layout largely dates to 1810, though the tower was built earlier, in 1803. Additions and alterations were made in 1894 and 1937. The design incorporates elements reflecting the appearance of the previous church building. The churchyard is documented in Architecture of Scottish Post-Reformation Churches, page 263.
